This newly constructed home in Napa required a kitchen that would reflect the owners’ appreciation for beautiful art as well as the natural beauty of the Napa landscape in which their home is set.
The kitchen was designed with the intent of reflecting the abundance of natural light in the home, and showcasing the owner’s discerning collection of objects from around the world.
The striking Alno high gloss lacquer door style of cabinets in light grey and black, combine highly functional storage with custom, artistically lit display niches. This, in combination with high ceilings, allows the kitchen to take on the scale and scope of a contemporary gallery space.
As the day progresses the very appearance of the kitchen changes echoing the shifts in light and shadow. Elegant touches of Alno frosted glass door style, decorative lights by Alno, stainless steel appliances and the use of unique details like concrete tiles, perfectly reflect the owners’ style and contemporary tastes.
